In Residential Design we go by the different types of concept we can design the space which depends upon the area of the space. Firstly, we visit the site or space than we decide the concept on which the design process have to be done. Than we choose the mood boards according to the concept.
Some of the concepts which we mostly like are
Modern Classical Concept –
What Defines Modern Classic Style.
The classic interior house design originated from European culture. Like Victorian and Art Deco also the Greek and the Roman are the main inspirations of this style. Mixed by classic design and the modern design, the result was the European modern classic interior design.
Scandinavian Concept-
Scandinavian design is marked by a focus on clean, simple lines, minimalism, and functionality without sacrificing beauty. It first came to prominence in the 1950s, around the same time as modern style took hold in America and Europe. Part of what makes it so aesthetically pleasing is its lack of clutter.
Mid Century Modern Concept –
“Midcentury modern” itself is a difficult term to define. It broadly describes
architecture, furniture, and graphic design from the middle of the 20th century.
Some of its characteristics are :
1. Organic and geometric shapes. Mid-century modern style focuses on clean lines with a mix of both organic and geometric shapes.
2. Function over form.
3. Minimal ornamentation.
4. Contradicting materials and textures.
5. Neutral (and bold!)
6. Bringing nature indoors.
Modern Victorian Design –
Modern Victorian is about pushing the envelope both with style and with colors and accessories. It is pretty self-explanatory but by using a few more modern piece of lighting in a traditional or Victorian space you get the perfect combo of new and old like you see below.
Modern Country Design Concept-
Modern country style interior design is all about creating a functional and authentic kitchen. Instead of decorations and items that can’t be used, focus on functional appliances, items and areas. Use open shelving, hanging pots and utensil displays as the decoration in the kitchen.
Industrial Design Concept-
In a nutshell, Industrial style interior design is largely influenced by the look and feel of factories and warehouses. Industrial style interiors are characterized by large open spaces, exposed structural elements, reclaimed objects as well as metal, brick, wood and concrete textures.
